Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Paris - Night-time transfer to Montmartre, Funicular ride, Parisian cuisine

Welcome to Europamundo! Your adventure begins the moment you step off the plane at Paris' airport. Our team will be eagerly waiting to whisk you away to your hotel. While at the hotel, don't forget to check the information boards in the reception area. They'll have all the details you need about the welcome meeting with your guide and your fellow travelers.

Day 2: Versailles Palace and Montmartre Magic - Transfer to Versailles Palace, Funicular ride in Montmartre, City tour in Paris.

Early in the morning, we set off for Versailles, the sprawling palace that once housed the French kings. A testament to opulence and grandeur, it's a sight to behold. Afterward, we return to Paris for lunch and then head to the charming Montmartre district. Here, a funicular ride takes us to a hilltop where you can soak in a breathtaking view of Paris. Montmartre is famed for its artists, painters, and cabarets. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and soak in the magical atmosphere. Later, a scenic guided tour introduces you to the history, main boulevards, and the iconic monuments of Paris. Optionally, you can attend a captivating variety show.

Day 3: Paris - The City of Lights - Eiffel Tower and a River Cruise in Paris.

Today, we head to the heart of Paris, starting at the iconic Eiffel Tower. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument with the ticket included. Afterward, a leisurely boat cruise along the River Seine offers spectacular views, dividing the city into its northern and southern parts. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace.

Embarking on a journey to the heart of France, we arrive in the renowned Bourgogne region, celebrated for its wines. Along the way, we make a stop in SEMUR EN AUXOIS, a small medieval town ensconced within imposing walls. Next, we visit BEAUNE, situated in the center of Bourgogne. Its streets adorned with flowers, a hospice, and a wine museum make it a place of great interest. Our journey continues to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia, nestled along the Rhu00f4ne, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We include a funicular ride to Notre Dame de Fourviu00e8re, providing breathtaking views of the city. Afterward, you can enjoy some leisure time to explore this captivating city. Dinner is included. In some cases, we'll accommodate part of the group in Chambery, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we'll head to CHAMBERY at the end of the afternoon, allowing for a visit to the medieval-style capital of Savoy with its stunning historic center and grand castle the following morning.

Day 5: Switzerland Beckons - Geneva to Zurich - Scenic tour around Swiss lakes and vineyards.

A picturesque journey through Switzerland awaits. Our first stop is in GENEVA, where you'll visit the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations, the enchanting 'Jardin Anglais' with its quaint flower clock, and the 'Jet du00b4Eau,' the tallest fountain in Europe. After a delightful lunch, we continue our journey through Switzerland, tracing the shores of Leman and Neuchatel lakes. The scenic road offers views of magnificent vineyards perched against a backdrop of mountains. We pause in NEUCHATEL, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll by the lake, explore the historic town center, or visit the charming 10th-century castle. Our final destination is ZURICH, where we arrive in the late afternoon. Note: Depending on the number of passengers traveling from Geneva to Zu00fcrich, this part of the trip might be done by train, with no stop in Neuchatel.

Day 6: Exploring Zurich's Beauty - Zurich, Lake Zurich Cruise.

With our guide leading the way, we embark on a tour of ZURICH, Switzerland's most populous city and its financial and cultural capital. This city, often hailed for its quality of life, has plenty to offer. Following the city tour, we embark on a serene cruise on Lake Zu00fcrich, lasting almost two hours. The boat stops briefly to allow us to explore the charming villages along the way. Our journey culminates in RAPPERSWIL, a picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train, where you'll appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the station may be made using public transport.

Day 7: Swiss Scenic Wonders - Breathtaking landscapes, Cable car ride in Grindelwald, Lunch included.

Today's journey promises awe-inspiring landscapes with towering mountains and pristine lakes. The Interlaken region, in particular, offers scenery that will leave you spellbound. We make a stop in GRINDELWALD, where you'll have time to enjoy a coffee before embarking on a cable car ride to the mountain. There, you can walk along a winding path that leads to the 'footbridge over the abyss.' Challenge yourself to traverse the bridge and revel in the stunning glacier views. We'll savor lunch up in the mountains (included) before descending. Our adventure continues to LUCERNE, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to explore the city, dine, and then return to our hotel in Zurich.
